Marlies was one of the founders of SomaLife International Inc. in 1998 after having had a successful career with one of Canada’s largest banking institutions.After retiring from banking, Marlies went on to assist her husband in his medical practice as medicine and healthy longevity had always been of particular interest to her and she felt too young and vibrant to retire. Both she and her husband had a vision and together made a commitment to bring knowledge of health alternatives to those who were looking for quality of health in their lives. After much soul searching they felt the only way for people to understand their unique philosophy was to spread the word one person at a time.Her professional financial background, together with 25 years of experience in that area, assisted her in establishing a solid office environment with a good understanding and implementation of office procedures and so, SomaLife was born.From 1998 to the present, Marlies learned all aspects of network marketing, having started from ground zero. Because she had such a solid overview of the company, Marlies was subsequently promoted to VP Public Relations.Marlies has always held the company, and all those in the field involved in the “SomaLife Mission”, close to her heart, giving her full support to the ongoing research into preventing illness, prolonging health and preserving youth throughout adult years.Marlies is a participant in life as an avid Dragon Boater.
