Digital Capability Center Aachen (DCC) is a cooperation between RWTH Aachen & McKinsey.Development of an AI based solution to determine motion classes, performed by an assembly worker, based on a video stream.Using deep learning methods, one network extracts the hand coordinates form the images (using mediapipe), another takes these sequential inputs to predict action classes (custom network - main research part).Toplevel routines can work with these predictions to gain insights on cycle times, give worker guidance, determine station utilization, perform quality inspection and many more.

Development of a custom ML suite to predict exchange-rate/cryptocurrency fluctuations. Including data pipelines, models/agents, simulation environments, test suits and visualizations, minimizing runtimes, distribute trainings.Best solutions were used in a live trading environment.

Development of predictive maintenance systems for fatigue strength tests; based on acceleration data.Development of evaluation algorithms and visualization routines belonging the fatigue conditions.Development of ML-concepts and prototypes to perform anomaly detection.
