Senior Media Relations Manager
Current• Contributes to comprehensive global strategy by developing internal and external communications around core business programs, diversity and inclusion, and philanthropy.• Acts as the firm’s subject matter expert on media and crisis matters, and convenes with c-suite leadership and other stakeholders to ensure strategy and communications are consistent, coordinated, and optimized.• Develops firm messages for key internal communication projects, media campaigns and reactive media commentary that reinforce firm culture and values while advancing its business development goals and positioning objectives.• Develops talking points using a unique firm “voice” and conducts tailored coaching sessions with firm spokespeople. • Oversees the creation and delivery of media content, including press releases, story pitches, bylined articles, and Akerman’s online newsroom.
