Senior Media Relations Manager
Current- Contributes to comprehensive global strategy by developing internal and external communications around core business programs, diversity and inclusion, and philanthropy.
- Acts as the firm’s subject matter expert on media and crisis matters, and convenes with c-suite leadership and other stakeholders to ensure strategy and communications are consistent, coordinated, and optimized.
- Develops firm messages for key internal communication projects, media campaigns and reactive media commentary that reinforce firm culture and values while advancing its business development goals and positioning.
- Develops talking points using a unique firm “voice” and conducts tailored coaching sessions with firm spokespeople.
- Oversees the creation and delivery of media content, including press releases, story pitches, bylined articles, and Akerman’s online newsroom.
