The Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal for the Hattiesburg Convention Commission and the Hattiesburg Tourism Commission. The Director of Marketing and Communications will be both organizations’ strategic marketing leader. This position requires constant innovation in a rapidly changing media environment. Because of this, the position requires vigilant brand management and a deep understanding of traditional and digital media. We provided a vast array of internet and data services to south Mississippi. We sold the company to Xfone USA in November 2008. The people we met, the customers we enjoyed, and the lessons we learned about business, networking, and technology have added immeasurable value to our experiences and our lives.
