I strongly believe that creativity plays a vital role in education. I feel that creativity helps the students feel excited about their learning. They have fun and learn something new in the process. Students are bombarded with activities that attempt to gain their attention and I feel that creativity will help them focus their attention on learning and growing.As an educator I will encourage creativity by providing challenging yet interesting activities that coincide with curriculum requirements. I will strive to provide lesson plans that allow students to flourish and grow and reach their highest potential.When interacting with students I will strive for respect as well as respecting the students and their opinions. I will endeavor to help students learn that respect comes in many forms; from saying and doing the right thing to others as well as to themselves. When interacting with parents I will show respect for their child and their own personal parenting style. I will encourage them to take an active role in their child’s education by working with their child on both their strengths and weaknesses.It is my goal to help students reach their highest potential as learners.
