• Targeted, regulatory and planned maintenance of the HFC CATV, Broadband and telephony Network • Ensure that any changes, upgrades, new products & equipment are installed and commissioned to agreed target deadlines • Correct usage of appropriate test equipment to carry out all maintenance, repair & upgrade activities on the Network • Maintenance & repair of the copper Network • Upgrade and commissioning of new Network • Copper, PDH, SDH, transmission installation, commissioning and repair. • CATV, Broadband, HFC installation and repair. • Ability to work AC / DC power within regulations. • Laser safety and use. • Knowledge and Skills to work on HFC Architecture. • Knowledge and Skills to work on Network Amplifiers and associated equipment. • High level knowledge and skills to work on Head End related architecture • Termination of all Coax / Copper Cables • Identify and Resolve CPD / Noise / Ingress on HFC Architecture • Be familiar with UBR's / DOCSIS
