Management of hundreds of Azure & SQL Server databases for multiple customers, including implementing key features such as, Managed Instances, Always On including geo clustering in hybrid and multi cloud configurations. Resolution of complex issues related to Azure, AWS & SQL Server technologies, including disaster recovery and performance problems, both on-premises and in cloud environments. Successfully led multiple Azure SQL Server database migrations, in place and side by side, while also designing and delivering Azure and SQL data platform solutions for internal and external clients. The escalation point and provided management backfill for the Global SQL Server Managed Services team, working closely with the SMT and clients to standardize support offerings, automate processes, and develop standard operating procedures. Development of relationships with clients by acting as a primary point of contact, discussing future needs, and providing out-of-hours support as needed. Generation of over £200,000 in revenue for the business by providing value-added services that aligned with clients' business objectives.
