Marlon’s design work spans two decades and several disciplines including advertising, identity design, editorial design, package design, environmental design, object design, and furniture design. Marlon has developed a reputation as a problem solver, thanks to his ability to analyse and meticulously pull apart design challenges in order to create carefully considered, powerful visual solutions. He is extremely detail oriented, deliberate and systematic in his approach. During the course of his career he has led the design of brand identity schemes including Massy Learning Institute, Massy Wellness & Benefits, Nudge Caribbean, Prudecon, The Cloth, Del Mano, TYE Manufacturing, CGA, Wearhershield, Guardian Group, Beacon Insurance, Lisa Communications, Mt Irvine Bay Resort and National Energy; and he has won ten Caribbean Advertising Federation ADDY Awards and six AAATT awards. Marlon also has a passion for finding out how things are made, which he bears out through his object and furniture company, By Making.
