It Quality Assurance Specialist Ii
Current• Determines hardware, software, and configuration requirements for test environment and ensures test environments meet the requirements during testing.• Coordinates with Network Administration, Database Administration, Security Managers and other technical and management staff as required, to ensure test resources are available, properly configured and controlled during testing• Reports test status in accordance with the test plan and established procedures. Issues and defects found during testing are tracked to ensure all have been resolved in accordance with standards and the criteria established in the test plan.• Coordinates with project managers, developers, vendors and users to ensure all testing has been fully executed, documented and reported• Recommend programs for release to production base on documented test results. • Monitors the adequacy of and adherence to information technology internal controls and emergency, disaster recovery and security• Recommend changes to correct deficiencies and enhance the quality of information technology systems and services.• Recommend responses to internal and external audit exceptions related to information technology systems and services and recommends corrective action plans.• Incorporates lessons learned from previous development efforts.• Conducts informal audits of information systems and services and submits results to supervisor.• Prepares documents used supporting the testing to include Master Test Plans, Testability Assessments, Requirement Traceability Matrices, Defects Tracking Documents, Defect Reports and Test Summary Report.• Recommend quality assurance standards and procedures and validates compliance of documented procedures.• Ensures all necessary documents are prepared according to applicable guideline and standards. Ensure all documents are accurate and complete and have been reviewed and approved with the appropriate review process.
