Parent Engagement Education ProgramPIQE’s signature program is the Parent Engagement Education Program.True to the organization’s mission, the program educates parents on how to foster a positive educational environment for their children both at home and at school. The program, which lasts nine weeks, is free to parents. Parents who participate learn how to create a positive and lasting educational environment at home using a number of proven academic success tools: dedicating a home study location and time of day for homework; creating ongoing dialog with their kids’ surrounding their academic successes and challenges; discussing children’s college expectations; and more.

Responsible for the english/spanish verbal & written communication with administration, teachers, students and parents at Midland Elementary and Twin Peaks Middle School in the Poway USD. Coordination and facilitation of the english/spanish translation for educational meetings and conferences for parents.

PIP is a weekly opportunity to help children kindergarten through third grade build resiliency and self esteem through classroom lessons and/or small group of children.Focus of the Primary Interaction Program are:•Security. Students see school is a safe environment where they can learn and feel safe•Selfhood. Students gain a strong sense of individuality recognizing their unique qualities•Competence. Students become aware of their own strengths and acknowledge personal success

-Responsible for organizing, planning and developing health, welfare and recreation services for specific economically disadvantaged neighborhoods of Cali, Colombia. -Supervised a group of 80 YMCA volunteers.-Coordinated the travel of a group of volunteers in an international exchange with United States
