- Conduct complex and deep dive investigations of sophisticated cyber criminals and criminal enterprises- Focus on fraudsters targeting AWS for unlawful crypto-mining activity - Use metadata, structured and unstructured data and intelligence tools to identify and disrupt fraudsters- Work with AWS’ extensive teams of developers and analysts to create new manual and automated tools and processes- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Amazon on investigations and fraud risk mitigation- Develop investigative referrals and intelligence collaboration documents for Amazon Legal and Law Enforcement agencies- Assist in developing new controls for and improving monitoring of emerging fraud patterns- Work with stakeholders to drive process improvements that impacting internal and external customers

- Work closely with Amazon businesses to ensure and track the effectiveness of the Program to comply with the various U.S. and international sanctions rules and regulations- Identify regulatory compliance risks/concerns and make suggestions and/or take corrective actions to implement solutions to improve controls/operations- Documents Compliance Team processes and production of Standard Operating Procedures- Create materials and delivery of sanctions screening training for internal and external stakeholders- Provide support and sanctions screening subject matter expertise to investigations, operational staff and other stakeholders to help them understand denied party screening requirements as they relate to their functions- Define KPI to assess Compliance training effectiveness and identify areas of improvement- Support SEC transactions reporting and root cause analysis

- Conduct deep dives on merchants escalated by the Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) teams in Cork and London- Review Seller documentation and listings to guarantee products are meeting Acceptable User Policy (AUP) for restricted categories- Assist the Suspicious Activity Monitoring teams in developing AML assessment and reporting- Conduct Legal Research to identify the impact of the 4th and 5th EU AML Directive on Amazon EU AML Program- Monitor publications from Luxembourg's Regulator (CSSF) to guarantee compliance with latest laws- Work with the Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) Project team and Engineering team in Seattle to implement a new Case Management system- Conduct training for the Compliance Operations and Escalations teams- Elaborate test cases and identify gaps within new investigative tools developed by engineering teams

- Investigate suspicious/ high-risk customer activity and taken preventive actions to minimize risks- Raise unusual suspicious merchant activity resulting in the investigation of sellers later reported for money laundering- Responsible for the compilation of data and information required for the completion and submission of Suspicious Transactions Reports (STRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to the Luxembourgish Regulator (CSSF)- Work with management and other teams to ensure that all required employees had successfully completed PwC Compliance Training- Work with management to update communication channels enabling cross functional exchange between the Compliance and Operational teams
