I'm a software developer from Portugal finishing my studies at 42 | Lisboa. My journey started in graphic design and arts but I have continued to learn and follow my interests.I transitioned to software development to continue evolving as a creator. I taught myself front-end development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and attended numerous meetups and tech events to learn more. My big break came with the first edition of 42 | Lisboa, where I've been expanding my horizons ever since.42 Lisboa's peer-to-peer learning and self-organization model has been transformative, equipping me with strong programming skills in languages like C and C++, among other tools of the trade like Docker and Git, and fostering autonomy and problem-solving abilities.My free time is for drawing, reading, cats and playing video, card, and board games. I'm also passionate about learning. I'm currently teaching myself Japanese and how to play the piano. I enjoy reading sci-fi and non-fiction about global events, and I'm fascinated by innovative learning platforms that use gamification to make learning engaging and motivating.
