I was an assistant swim coach as well as swim lesson instructor for the Loomis Basin Dolphins swim team over the summer of 2019. This occupation involved teaching children how to properly learn to swim, and the different stroke techniques. I was able to work one on one with children and in a group setting to help them learn while having fun. I developed personal relationships with the students I taught while maintaining authority and keeping them safe in the water.
