The City-County Communications & Marketing Association is the nation's premiere network of local government communicators. Developed policies, procedures, strategy and budget for the department in support of key performance indicators. Served as advisor on policy and strategy to the Town Manager and Council, Police and Fire Chiefs and other stakeholders, including providing media and public presence training. Key Accomplishments:• Collaborate with Capital Improvements Department to design and construct an 85-acre regional park, including the Town’s first recreation and aquatics center. Park opening in late 2023.• Established the Town’s first volunteer program, designed to encourage active participation in local government, save taxpayer dollars and continue facilitating a sense of community.• Develop budgets and strategic plans to double the amount of active park space in the community, as well as miles of additional trails. This includes developing a wide range of new programs, including aquatics, fitness, after-school programs and child-watching services.• Assist Utilities Department in conveying the Town’s innovative water acquisition and conservation efforts on a national and local level – a sensitive and nuanced topic for the community’s future.• Management of the Town’s agreement with Maricopa County to operate the Queen Creek Library.

Oversee Town-wide communications and branding, including oversight of printing and design contracts for all departments. Served in the Incident Command Center on behalf of the Arizona State Department of Emergency Management for the Yarnell Fire and Granite Mountain Hotshot Memorial/Funerals. Assisted in coordinating evacuee meetings and community outreach, as well as acting as media liaison at the nationally televised memorial service and two of the funerals.

Created cohesive marketing, media and public relations campaigns for the town of Celebration, "The town that Disney built." Directed and hosted content for Celebration’s television station. Implemented weekly direct mail and e-mail campaigns. Served as spokesperson for the community and worked with national and international media to convey the story and history of Celebration, as well as promote special events and activities. Primary leader of VIP and press tours of the community.
