Marnie Webb is the CEO of TechSoup, where she has the privilege of partnering with organizations, corporations, and philanthropic institutions all over the world. Together with a team of change makers dedicated to supporting civil society, she oversees the development and implementation of innovative programs and initiatives that drive social impact globally - with a focus on the infrastructure necessary to support locally-led, tech-enabled civil society. Marnie’s work is deeply rooted in human-centered design principles and incorporates methodologies from social work and international development, such as Participatory Action Research. Marnie has more than 30 years of experience collaborating with civil society organizations, governments, academia, and corporations to build teams and solutions that achieve significant community impact. She is a member of the founding team of Caravan Studios, a division of TechSoup. Caravan Studios is dedicated to building solutions that accelerate the work of collaboratives of organizations.Marnie serves on the boards of Safe Place International, a non-profit dedicated to supporting LGBTQI refugees worldwide, and Chapter 510, a youth writing, bookmaking, and publishing center based in Oakland. She believes in the aspirations and potential of public schools, public libraries, and public transportation.
