I am Chief ESG & Legal Officer and member of the Board of Management & Executive Committee of Royal Philips. After 15 years at Philips, I’m proud to champion the fully integrated approach to how we do business responsibly and sustainably. As a purpose-driven company we know we have a responsibility towards society and we strive to embed these values ever deeper in the way we do business. This is why, in my current role, I am so passionate about driving Philips’ ESG strategy, targets, and commitments. My parents spent most of their lives working in foreign aid organizations in the healthcare space. This has been formative and shaped my outlook on the importance of universal health coverage. At Philips, we aim to improve the lives of 2.5 billion people a year by 2030, including 400 million people in underserved communities. I am personally committed to working with our public and private stakeholders to enable sustainable healthcare and expand access to care for underserved communities.
