Electrical Designer - Design Engineering
CurrentDESIGN ENGINEERING – ELECTRICAL DESIGNER | MAY. 2024 - PRESENT• Develop electrical/electronic systems for Versatile's current and next generation of heavy-duty agricultural machinery• Execute full project life cycle from concept and design to prototyping, integration, testing, implementation, and end-of-life support• Coordinate cross-functional design efforts with other team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical/electronic systems with hydraulic, structures and mechanical components• Prepare and deliver full design documentation including schematics, wiring assemblies, routing, fastening and sheet metal design for bracketry, shielding and protecting coverings• Deliver part/assembly models, drawings, concept presentations, specifications, reports and procedures• Create specifications and test protocols for electrical/electronic systems, components and assemblies considering mechanical, environmental and regulatory factors• Perform engineering change orders in a timely manner to release parts and assemblies to production• Liaise with service, production, quality departments, and suppliers to support product development, improvement and sustaining
