● Investigate security alerts using a combination of enterprise tools and open-source security intelligence tools to identify and analyze potential threats, ensuring timely response and mitigation ● Perform triage of reported phishing emails to assess their legitimacy, employing a combination of technical analysis and user engagement to identify and remediate potential threats● Analyze PCAP files using various packet analyzers to evaluate network traffic for potential security threats● Develop alerts based on Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) associated with threat actors through analysis of intelligence, sandbox, and malware reports● Develop and refine Yara rules to identify and block potentially malicious emails targeted at internal users, leveraging knowledge of active phishing campaigns, and adjusting rules to effectively mitigate evolving threats● Conduct static and dynamic analysis of diverse malware samples, ensuring thorough identification and detection of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) used by threat actors● Analyze network traffic and optimized Snort/Suricata alerts to minimize false positives● Maintain knowledge of the ever-evolving landscape of security threat intelligence, proactively monitoring and researching the latest industry trends, emerging vulnerabilities, and attack techniques● Participate in the enhancement and maintenance of internal standard operating procedure (SOP) documents utilized within the security operating center, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with industry best practices
