The data reduction tools are used for calculating and plotting RF parameters including impedance, return loss/VSWR (S11 and S22) and the RF energy required for the neutralization of blasting caps.

Lead test engineer for the Full Signal Translator (FST) program.•Optimized and performed RF system testing on power amplifiers (PAs), low noise amplifier (LNAs) and L-band to S-band frequency translators.•Utilized LabVIEW, TestStand and Visual Basic to develop automation software for an ATE station designed to test Full Signal Translators (FSTs).

Developed test (ATEs) for equipment used in CATV networks.•Developed test for E3/DS3/OC-3 data modules and ASI MPEG video modules that plug into an OC-48 rate SONET/SDH platform. The test stations perform Bit Error Rate Test (BERT); PCR jitter measurements, verify inter-bus data communication between plug-in modules; verify optical and voltage output levels of plug-in modules.•Developed test for various RF assemblies: amplifiers, high and low pass filters, RF switches and equalizers.
