I am a prosecutor at the City of Memphis, where I handle neighborhood preservation act cases in environmental court on behalf of the city. I graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis in May 2022. In law school, I was a qualified law student in the Neighborhood Preservation Clinic. My core competencies include legal research, drafting, and presentation, as well as real estate and environmental law.Prior to becoming a prosecutor, I was a staff attorney at The Works, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing and community development services. There, I managed all real estate closings, facilitated monthly meetings with government and nonprofit stakeholders, and directed a collaborative effort with the University of Memphis and a local community development corporations to identify and address blighted properties. I have also worked as a legal fellow at the Memphis and Shelby County Emergency Rental Assistance Program, and as a summer extern at Memphis Area Legal Services, where I gained valuable experience in assisting low-income clients with housing and other legal issues.
