•Oversee and monitor the implementation of UPCAP's compliance program as a contractual requirement between MDHHS-OIG and a MI Choice Waiver agent.•Develop and coordinate multifaceted educational and training programs focusing on HIPAA, Medicaid fraud, waste and abuse and cybersecurity along with all elements of the compliance program.•Coordinate internal compliance review and auditing/monitoring activities to identify compliance risks.•Prepare and share internal Compliance/Fraud report with the President/CEO, Compliance Committee and Governing Board.•Develop policies and programs that encourage employees to report suspected compliance issues, fraud and other improprieties without fear of retaliation.•Develop and maintain procedures and systems for prompt responses to compliance issues.•Check all employees and providers against OIG, SAM, LARA and MDHHS Sanctioned Provider List.•Attend seminars, participate in web-based training and attend quarterly meetings at the OIG office for ongoing training related to Medicaid fraud, waste and abuse.•Responsible for UPCAP's data entry into the State of Michigan NAPIS system.•Serve as the WellSky liaison between UPCAP and 19 aging providers with 41 users relative to data collection, data integrity, data reporting, and overall system maintenance of approximately 6,000 consumers.•Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms.•Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
