We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality shaved ice in town with the friendliest staff.Mars has overseen all aspects of operation since 2013. Prior to partnering he was a manager who oversaw the daily operations and worked alongside two other managers. Bringing his interests to the table, Mars made Casey's the first and only Styrofoam-free shaved ice business in Austin. Casey's uses a 100% biodegradable cup bought from a local wholesaler.Looking towards growth Mars has also invested in a mobile second location that is predominantly parked on South Congress, in addition to doubling the serving capabilities of Casey's brick and mortar store. This led to a shorter wait for customers and an increase in revenues and profits. In 2015 Mars began a catering operation that serves any-size order–from birthdays and weddings to corporate, commercial, and campus events in the 1000s.Prior to Mars' involvement record keeping was inefficient, costly, and unproductive. Switching to services like Square, QuickBooks, and a payroll service eased and, in some instances, automated administrative tasks, leaving more time to focus on growth and leisure.
