As Managing Director, I have the extremely interesting job of supervising the staff that invite people to our research discussion groups. Each day brings different topics to research and different types of people to attend the sessions – making my job really varied and challenging. One week we can be looking for pediatricians, fast-food customers, and sports enthusiasts. Another week it can be soda drinkers, health food shoppers, and elementary school teachers. Everyone who attends a focus group or interview at our facility in Glastonbury, CT or for an onlline study receives money from us as a thank you. And the amount given is usually $100 or more! Our research sessions usually run 2 hours or less.Focus groups provide our clients feedback from real people. Companies need honest views and opinions from our attendees, otherwise companies can make major mistakes in introducing or improving their service or product.
