• Responsible for collecting advertising revenue for two companies, supervising 3 members of staff with a turnover of £8m• Weekly and monthly reporting to CEO and directors. Setting targets, KPI’s, aged debt and cash forecasting• Monitor performance, ledger reviews, account statues and escalated processes as per company policy• Reviewing and updating credit control legal procedures, ensuring company policies are met• Identifying accounts that need special attention• Proactive approach liaising with clients, sales directors and mangers to resolve issues whilst maintaining the client base• Weekly meetings with sales director and managers, keeping them informed of targets, weekly age debt and any issues • Ensuring credit control letters, statements and reminders are sent out as per procedures• Legal procedures are followed and liaising with company solicitors

• Responsible for the supervision of collections of all outstanding debt within the Group. 16 individual companies with a £227m turnover • Supervising a team of ten Credit Controllers on various ledgers, including ledger reviews, setting objectives and targets • Experience of high volume collections• Able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. Supervising and monitoring the work of junior staff in a credit team• Excellent communication skills and commercial acumen • Having a hands on approach to day to day functions and activities• Ensuring that policy and procedures are adhered to• Monthly visit to Manchester offices for team meetings with sales managers• Handling disputed accounts and negotiating payments• Involved in migration of financial data for any new companies coming into the group
