Began 2 new independent divisions Studio E Fabrics and 3 Wishes Fabric geared toward the independent Quilt Shops. Increased business with existing customers and expanded business in the Big Box segment and the Independent quilt shop market.

Buyer of fabrics, stationary, all crafts, beads, needlework and yarn. Developed merchandising strategies and plan-o-grams for all categories of responsibility.Won most valuable player of the year award for the company in 1996.

Buyer of general crafts, jewelry making and wood. Store count doubled through buy of Lee Wards stores. Created plan-o-grams for all products and programs.

Began as sales manager for territory in parts of SC and NC selling fabrics, notions and crafts. Was the sales and service representative for craft departments in more than 60 retail chain stores that carried products and cohesive programs from the company.Promoted to National Account Manager and moved to Atlanta Ga. where I became the account manager for Roses stores. Managed internal customer service department and developed a telemarketing program to increase sales to existing customer base.

Began as part time sales person and worked up to store manager. Helped increase store sales 500% in two year time period by moving to a larger location and working with sales team to increase sales to customers. Helped open new stores in surrounding areas and train new store managers. Visited these stores on a regular basis for training purposes.
