I opened Kennedy Law Associates PLLC in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte NC to continue my goal of helping people facing separation and divorce do so with grace and dignity. Our attorneys consist of seasoned family law attorneys who are also licensed as Family Law Mediators, Parent Coordinators and Guardian ad litem, We are dedicated to building relationships with our clients and strive daily to represent all of clients with professionalism and compassion. In addition to representing and working with individuals to resolve family law matters, I designed and lead a divorce workshop entitled Divorce with Dignity, worked with the Council for Children’s Rights acting as a Guardian and volunteered with the Legal Representation Project helping victims of domestic violence. I also worked at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and use my experience in the financial and insurance services businesses to enhance my work with my clients in resolving their equitable distribution claims. I have worked for several large insurance companies and built an life insurance practice to over 400 clients. There is a lot of financial consequences to the decisions that are made when a families finances are divided and it is important to consider all aspects of those choses as they affect tax consequences, long term stability, liquidity and overall financial security. In addition to my legal and financial backgrounds, I also have supported marketing efforts for my firm and the companies for which I have worked in the past.
