I was so ashamed, and so embarrassed, that I never ever told anyone.Then four years later, my best friend was struggling hard, too. A lot of the things I went thru before I attempted my life.In January of 2014 he called me up… but I ignored it. Sent it to voicemail. I kept meaning to call back… but never did.On May 12th I got a call at 4:30am from his sister... Dustin took his life.I always wondered if me sharing my story with him could have saved his life?Now I’m on a mission to make sure that never happens again.
