I conduct a sophisticated practice in all aspects of family law, mostly in high stakes matters.

After many years of practice at a prestigious Century City law firm which I had founded, I decided several years ago that to limit my practice to serving individuals in resolving their marital disputes. For about 25 years, I practiced family law as well as other forms of law, and now I limit my practice to family aw. I find that helping resolve the problems of parties in distress, much more rewarding than the traditional corporate practice which I had previously performed.I now include in my practice the many aspects of family law, as divorce law is known in California. This includes litigating issues regarding community or separate property, child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, recovery of attorneys fees, . While many of my cases involve complicated issues of wealthy families with large businesses and extensive holdings, I also handle selected, smaller matters requiring sophisticated or sensitive personal matters.In recent years, premarital agreements ("prenups"​) have become more popular and important. I have prepared or reviewed many such agreements. They make it possible for marrying couples to arrange their marital financial affairs to their liking before marrying. State law favors such agreements. I have also handled paternity matters and domestic violence matters with success.My philosophy about my cases is that, if they can be settled fairly to my client, the client is far better off to settle, either through personal negotiations or formal mediation. Settlement reduces the time, expense and emotional grief that are inevitable in long, dragged-out divorces.
