Detail Drafting offers architectural and mechanical drafting services within the GTA and surrounding area. My duties as owner / operator include meeting with clients to discuss new projects and provide the layouts and designs required by the client. Specializing in large commercial layouts and design as well as CAD conversion, converting PDF, jpeg or printed plans into usable CAD files.

My responsibilities were to oversee the design and planning operations for commercial / industrial laundry facilities across Canada. During my time at Harco I have had the opportunity to work on high profile projects such as the Trump International Hotel and Towers Toronto and the Ritz-Carlton Toronto. Commercial Laundry equipment has been an very educational product to work with, requiring knowledge with gas, electricity, steam, HVAC, waste water drainage and water supply as well as an understanding in architectural and structural design.

Provided drafting services for various mechanical and architectural contracts. Projects included plumbing plans, office / furniture layouts, electrical schematics and architectural site plans.

My duties included preparing structural drawings based on the engineers sketches and designs. I also provided customized company drafting standards to improve and unify design operations. Projects included steel support design for large exhaust systems and various structural drawings.
