Licensed M1 and M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with over 40 years in the aviation industry. Endorsement include Boeing 737-200 to -800, B767, Airbus A310.I spent 26 years performing maintenance and five years in the quality control (Inspection) department including running a crew, performing and certifying mandatory inspections on aircraft as well as performing Customer Inspections at Boeing during manufacture.My last 11 years were in Quality Assurance, auditing and now managing the Quality Assurance Program, developing schedules, budgets, Checklists and evaluating Vendors based on domestic and foreign regulations, bilateral agreements and technical arrangements. I also host and manage both Transport Canada and IATA external Audits. I have now been asked by WestJet Leadership to extend my knowledge of maintenance and quality to our young apprentices by developing an apprenticeship program at WestJet. I am very excited at the prospect of developing our young apprentices and new AME's and giving them the ability, not only to succeed, but to excel in this industry that has given me so much over the years. I have been given the opportunity to pay it forward.
