Marshall Evan McGuire (he/they) is an actor, writer, and creative based in Brooklyn, NY. With a strong background in the performing arts, Marshall has dedicated much of his young adult life to supporting and amplifying stories from marginalized communities.A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Marshall earned a BFA in Theatre in 2022. During his time at Tisch, he led a coalition for multiethnic students and created a safe space for Black students within his performance studio during the COVID-19 pandemic.Since graduating, Marshall has been featured in several productions throughout the New York City area, including his original play War Dance!, which he produced for the New York Theatre Festival in the fall of 2022. He also starred in an MFA Thesis production of Ivanov at Columbia University in 2023 and appeared in the series finale of Blue Bloods in 2024.In addition to his work as a performer, Marshall has gained experience in the public relations field. In the fall of 2022, he worked at the renowned firm ID, where he supported high-profile clients such as actors Ethan Hawke and Chris Perfetti, as well as playwright and showrunner Branden Jacobs-Jenkins. Marshall currently serves as executive assistant to the founder and CEO at People’s Television, an independent documentary & branded content production house, where he manages the office in Chelsea and occasionally works as a production assistant. One project he is particularly proud of is his work on a PSA for the Clean Slate Initiative, a non-profit that helps individuals with criminal records reintegrate into society by clearing their records.
