How could the time I spent playing sports while growing up help me develop valuable business skills? Hockey, football, baseball, and golf have helped me gain some essential skills that are required to be a good employee and coworker. Playing hockey has taught me how to communicate with my teammates in ways that allow us to depend on each other in any situation during a game, or in preparation for one. My teammates and I analyzed our opponents strategies and formulated a plan together in order to succeed week in and week out. The value I will add to your company comes from my ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and be dependable. My education and experiences prior to and during the course of my four years at The University of Toledo have taught me how to be proficient in the use of excel and other Microsoft resources. Team and individual oral presentations, statistical analysis, and the interpretation of financial statements/ business processes have also been major focal points of my studies that will allow me to bring value to your business.
