Emphasis: Aviation Safety and Regulatory Oversight.As a Project Manager with the Office of Inspector General, I manage a geographically dispersed team responsible for planning and conducting audits and evaluations of aviation related functions at the Department of Transportation. Primary work focus on aviation safety matters dedicated to improving the oversight and effectiveness of the Federal Aviation Administration’s safety programs. Examples of aviation-related work managed include audits of how different aviation user groups impact the air traffic control system, as well as in depth reviews of FAA safety oversight of the airline and aircraft manufacturing industries. Most recently, I have been leading an audit of FAA's progress in integrating Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) into the national airspace system. Other duties include preparation of Congressional testimony and outreach to Congressional committees.

Increased self-service option usage by 50 percent. Lead regulatory compliance representative responsible for assuring compliance with FAA, TSA, and OSHA regulations. As station safety chairperson, oversaw local safety compliance audit program.

Successfully performed Internal Evaluation Program audits at company airport operations worldwide with specialization in aircraft maintenance, fuel quality and ramp operations safety and security that resulted in increased safety, quality, and accountability.
