Finance AdministratorDealing with telephone enquiries from arrears customers regarding account queries, setting up Direct Debits and Standing Orders and taking payment over the phone using debit or credit cards. Corresponding with various parties concerning arrears customer’s accounts, eg solicitors, Citizens Advice Bureau, debt management companies, banks and car dealerships. Managing my time effectively to progress through daily work queues and individual tasks and helping to train less experienced members of the team. Face-to-face customer service with clients in the locality of the office who come in to discuss payment plans or to discuss the return of their vehicles - this sometimes involves the banking of cash payments and the updating of various spreadsheets. Sole responsibility of processing of damaged vehicles returned to us under customer’s terms and conditions of their finance agreement. This included pricing damage with various sources and making payment arrangements with customers to enable us to close their accounts off.
