• Led the redesign for the thermal management system (TMS) of a prototype electric mining vehicle and established new MEDATech best practices for TMS design• Engaged with suppliers and clients to obtain regulatory approval for new thermal design• Designed components for battery electric mining vehicles, drilling equipment and industrial equipment in Solidworks to relevant ASME, ASTM, CSA and ISO standards• Analyzed the stress and strength of structures, with complex loading and geometry using ANSYS

• Worked for Aventech Research Inc. in the summer (April-August) of both 2014 and 2015• Performed and documented calibration, qualification testing and acceptance testing on air data sensors including vibration, shock and temperature testing to MIL-STD• Designed and built a pressure testing system to excite two pressure sensors simultaneously and allow for more precise pressure measurement, doubling test bed throughput• Assisted in the development of an inventory control system to ensure component traceability • Designed parts for high precision, military standard air data sensors in GeoMagic (Alibre) CAD• Presented acceptance and qualification testing regime to customers from government agencies• Coordinated with machinists to ensure adherence to specification and to remedy production issues
