Responsible for the interpretation and where necessary physical implementation of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations for the UK Armed Forces. Part of the UK negotiation team for the UK-USA Defence Trade Cooperation Treaty with specific responsibility for Unique Identification. Ensuring that the requirements for tracking, auditing and tracing all items subject to treaty or contractual agreement were placed in the URD for the Base Inventory and Warehouse Management System as well as the Management of the Deployed Inventory System being run out by Defence. Development of Support practices to ensure that UK PLCs transition in Afghanistan met UK Defence Policy requirements and therefore would be endorsed by the National Audit Office

Selected to be the UK exchange officer to HQ Combined Arms Support Command at Fort Lee Virginia. Team Leader for US Army Logistic Concepts. Lead on Distribution Operations for 2015-2025 consisting of 25 Officers and Government Civil Servant. Lead for US Army in Development of Joint concepts and end to end logistics. I was the US Army lead writer on the Joint Logistics White Paper team. Represented the US Army on the development of the Deployable Depot Concept to ensure implementation across Defence. Selected to represent the US Army at the Joint Port Opening Capability Development Working Groups and subsequently the implementation working group. Successfully including this work into the Army distribution concept capability plan.2009.

Responsible for the delivery of logistical support to the British Army. Tasks included support to the Tsunami and to the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Ran the air bridge and sea bridge Joint allocation cell leading for the Joint Force which included support to NGO. Developed new process and procedures to stream line delivery to austere locations saving millions while retaining full support to the front line troops.

Gutersloh Germany

Lead for equipment husbandry in a Close Support Logistics Regiment. Responsible for circ 700 vehicle and equipment ranging from 12000 Ltr Fuel Tankers to Radio Equipment. Successfully deployed the Regiment to Oman in Sept 2001 until Nov 2001. Ensured the Regiment passed its quadrennial NATO inspection. At short notice prepared and deployed the Regiment to Kuwait for the Second Gulf war. On arrival in Kuwait was selected to be the Recce Officer for 7 Armoured Brigade (The Desert Rats) responsible for the movement and security of 1500 vehicles deployed in a Combat zone.
