Marshall Shannon has more than 40 years of leadership experience with eighteen of these years as senior pastor of a growing church. He had the privilege to develop the church’s ministry design as the congregation grew from 15 people to over 400 in attendance. This experience helped him understand how to lead a church from where it is to where God wants it to be. As a senior pastor he prepared people for ministry, designed and developed staff structures, leadership and volunteer development, assisted church planters, coordinated community outreach, designed and developed disciple making processes and directed mission endeavors. Between 2003 and 2016 he has served churches all over the country as a ministry coach and pre-construction navigator. From January 2017 until January of 2023 he served churches in SC as an insurance agent with the American Church Group. The agency assists church leaders to protect their ministries through effectively stewarding their risk management. In January 2023 he began a new career as a recruiter with Profound International, an executive search firm.
