The Legacy Scholars Program celebrates partnership and collaboration. Together, students, educators, community members, and foundation representatives improve the future of Midland through education, service, and leadership. I work with students, non-profits, academic coaches, and foundation representatives to ensure significant impact of student learning and philanthropic efforts.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Provide leadership for campus academic operations, strategic academic planning, and implementation of student success and completion initiatives in close collaboration with the Vice President of Academic Affairs, campus deans, and other campus administrators. This includes strategic data analysis related to student success and learning metrics, course scheduling, and room utilization. Engage in faculty/staff curriculum/program development and professional development. Builds and coordinates the campus dual credit and early college high school partnerships and schedules. Supervise dual credit and early college high school team. Resolve individual student needs related to administrative withdrawal, grade change appeals, and general advising needs.

Forth Worth, Texas

Design, develop, and implement professional development activities for faculty. Coordinate system- wide training on teaching best practices, technology implementation, and software systems; produce training videos; advise departments on technology issues related to classroom teaching; facilitate Mastery of Teaching Institute (collaborative faculty research) and Celebration of Great Teaching retreat. Managed $800,000+ travel and professional development funds in support of faculty and staff development.

Developed and taught undergraduate courses in academic success and study skills. Designed and developed websites as clearinghouses for instructor and student resources.

Developed a leadership development program; coordinated professional development opportunities for faculty and staff; designed and implemented application process to award employees allotments of a large professional development budget; found and contracted speakers and workshop leaders to engage employees on best educational practices.

Advised departmental representatives on education technology implementation and professional development needs; oversaw student evaluation of instruction process; developed and implemented training curriculum for faculty and staff; maintained related multimedia products and websites for training and student instruction; assessed employee technology literacy levels; managed college-wide professional development & curriculum development budgets; coordinated instructional assessment measures related to institutional accreditation, served on various committees regarding educational trends and staff development.

Consulted with faculty and staff on various instructional technology projects; managed the development effort of the UGA College of Education website; produced/edited informational videos; designed/developed interactive multimedia computer-based and web-based educational tools; designed and delivered distance education technology training; supervised several graduate assistants.
