With Dreams in Action, I offer my services as a speaker, trainer, and guide. As a speaker, I inspire people with stories and lessons learned from my extreme sports adventures, and as a trainer and guide, I help others prepare for and enjoy adventures of their own, regardless of their prior athletic experience. I often team with fellow ultramarathoner Ray Zahab to present running camps and youth expeditions.In 2008 and at the age of 57, I clocked the all-time third-fastest crossing on foot from San Francisco (or L.A.) to New York City, and set new records for the masters’ and grand masters’ divisions.
