As New York's licensee of Enbiorganic's wastewater treatment solutions, Spadefoot is expanding its environmental remediation services in a novel way. Since Enbiorganic's onsite units are connected wirelessly to a central management platform, the bacterial cultures grown inside them are optimized for that particular wastewater source. After several weeks of tweaking, the bacteria is released and grows exponentially until the excess nutrients feeding the pathogens are consumed, starving them out.

We were formed September 2021 because we came to realize that we needed to support local stewardship in places across Long Island, that too many parcels, whether town, county, or state owned, had fallen into great neglect and only by supporting local efforts everywhere could we hope to conquer our invasive plants and restore habitat.

Save The Great South Bay was formed at the 35th Anniversary of Sayville High School on Long Island on August 3rd, 2012. We'd all come home to witness for ourselves how dead our bay had become. That was ten weeks to the day before Sandy.The organization exploded from 40 to 600 people immediately to defend the bay in the aftermath. Over seven years, the org on FB grew to over 15,000.Helped create and run what is now a major Long Island environmental non-profit. Edited Web site and managed social media feeds. Pivotal in establishing local programs in environmental stewardship = The Creek Defender Program, Bay Friendly Yards, and Shellfish Restoration. Hosted a 20 episode show on the local environment called Water Matters

We need to completely revamp energy, housing, agriculture, transportation, medicine, and society itself if we are to build a sustainable planet and a future we would all want to live in. Mankind is facing its greatest threat, but also its greatest opportunity. Massive changes are coming. The question is, how do we manage them, and together achieve the desired outcome -- our continuance, in peace and prosperity, with man set into balance with nature.
