Crane Army Ammunition Activity receives, stores, ships, produces, renovates and demilitarizes 25 percent of the U.S. Department of Defense’s stock of conventional ammunition and missiles in support of worldwide military operations.

The 54th Security Force Assistance Brigade is the National Guard’s only SFAB, headquartered in Indiana with units in Illinois, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, and Texas, under the U.S. Army’s Security Force Assistance Command. The mission of the SFAB is to conduct train, advise, assist, support, and liaison operations with allied and partner nation foreign security forces worldwide. SFABs are the United States Army’s permanent and dedicated force specially trained for combat advisory missions, with the exception of Special Forces.

The 38th Infantry Division is the Indiana National Guard’s largest command with more than 9000 personnel.Have served both as deputy and sole manager of six-person public affairs office responsible for publicizing the mission, programs, accomplishments and activities of a multi-state organization. External emergency response coordinator and public information officer.Achievements:• Conducted federal and state-level agency coordination and field liaison training operations for domestic emergency response cell responsible for eastern half of United States • Additional duty personnel manager for 710 members of division staff headquarters (two-star command). Managed daily operations and administration of 219 personnel and $17.4 million of property for unit supporting strategic executive-level management structure
