Assigned to the 4th Infantry Division (4th ID) as the Assistant G2 (Intel) Planner and developed enemy courses of action to prepare US forces for the Iraqi invasion during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Deployed to Iraq with 4th ID and served as the G2 Liaison Officer to Coalition Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC) in Iraq.

Executive officer for Headquarters and Headquarters Operations Company (HHOC), 501st Military Intelligence (MI) Battalion (BN). Primary assistant to the Company Commander in all areas of the unit's mission including logistics support, personnel actions, maintenance and operations for 5 subordinate units totaling over 190 soldiers. Managed training for all Battalion Staff, Maintenance and Communications personnel in support of the Battalion and the Analysis and Control Element in support of 1st Armored Division. Ensured all Battalion and Division support assets in HHOC were prepared to deploy and conduct no-notice recalls in support of all contingency operations. Ensured 100% accountability of all property valued in excess of $20 million throughout training and real-world missions. Maintained 100% accountability of sensitive items to include Top Secret property and all weapon systems valued in excess of $100,000. Assumed the duty of Company Commander in his absence.

Low Level Voice Intercept (LLVI) Platoon Leader for Alpha Company, 501st MI BN and deployed to Kosovo in support of Operation Joint Guardian II. Responsible for planning and executing missions for two AN/TLQ-17A(V)3 Traffic Jam systems and four PRD-13(V)2 Collection/DF systems to collect and exploit signals intelligence (SIGINT) in support of Task Force Falcon. Conducted a combined SIGINT mission with Norwegian, British and Special Forces units and conducted operations to support Polish, Greek and Ukrainian soldiers. Assigned additional duties as the Supply and Maintenance Officer. Responsible for all Alpha Company supply/logistical transactions and the accountability and maintenance of over $7 million in property. Responsible for the personal and professional development of 14 soldiers in the LLVI platoon.Led my platoon on 25 LLVI missions in a hazardous duty area focused on the most volatile and violent areas in MNB-E (Kosovo). Produced over 300 Tactical Signals Intelligence Reports and 15 National level Signals Intelligence Reports resulting in directly saving two local sources. Redeployed all of my soldiers and equipment back to Germany without a single incident.

Military Intelligence Officer (S2) for a forward deployed PATRIOT Air Defense Artillery battalion with V U.S. Corps, NATO and EUCOM contingency missions. Primary advisor to the Battalion Commander on intelligence, counter-intelligence, force protection and security matters for seven subordinate units totaling over 650 soldiers. Conducts Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield in support of command decision making and staff planning. Responsible for intelligence analysis and briefings, collection and dissemination of intelligence and maintenance of a comprehensive database of all airborne, missile and special warfare threats. Responsible for overseeing Battalion security and conducting inspections in the areas of physical, personnel, information, arms room, key control and automation systems. Trains and supervises three soldiers in support of garrison and tactical operations. Developed and implemented a force protection plan to train and certify fourteen guard force teams that had responsibilities for five PATRIOT missile sites in South West Asia. Coordinated with Army component and Air Force counter intelligence officers to identify safe havens in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait resulting in zero force protection incidents.
