Rob is a strategic leader who is passionate about building a best-in-class culture, team, the development of top talent, and he has a track record of achieving market-leading growth and profitability. Rob is responsible for Liberty Mutual Canada's people, leadership, strategy, and overall performance. He oversees corporate functions that include underwriting & risk services; operations & technology; actuary; claims; finance; human resources & talent; legal and compliance; marketing, communications & distribution; and strategy & corporate development. Rob is also the Executive Sponsor for Global Innovation within Global Risk Solutions at Liberty; he is an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion; and he and is a key contributor to Liberty’s environmental, social, and governance underwriting strategy.In 2021, Rob was honoured as one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40 for his business accomplishments and his commitment to the local, national, and global community. As a Founding Curator of Global Shapers, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, Rob is passionate about local community work, the betterment of Canada, and addressing key global challenges. He is the Founder and Past President of S-drive, a federally incorporated non-profit dedicated to the personal and professional development of young professionals through networking, philanthropy and community engagement. Rob finished second in the national competition and television show, Canada’s Next Great Prime Minister, and was the 2016 Convocation Speaker for the Queen’s Smith School of Business, where he holds an Honors Bachelor of Commerce. Rob is a proud East Coast Canadian and currently lives with his wife and three sons in Toronto, Ontario.
