Lead the Agencies & Advertiser Services team in North America, which was comprised of eight Technical Account Managers. This team was integral in growing A&A revenue by 55% YOY in 2014. I also remained intimately involved with our clients whether it be sales engineering a deal with a $1BN direct marketer possessing a $50M display budget, working with executives to migrate an ATDs #1 advertiser in Canada, advising an agency on how to build a disclosed trade desk from scratch, or behind-the-scenes leading a Sales/Services account team through exercises to develop its 2015 strategic plan.Internally I started a series called "Career Corner with JMars" where I interview AppNexians from around the company in our event space to extract career insights to help all AppNexians in their careers. Notable interviews thus far include the CTO, Global Director of PMC, Vice President of Global Marketing, and VP of Publishers.

Wrote and delivered the 2014 strategic vision for our Services team, while mentoring and coaching new Technical Account Manager hires. On the client front, migrated the $1M+ private marketplace business for our largest ATD client from a competitor, and improved our services engagement. Initially worked with ITD clients before being tasked with servicing the first major ATD for AppNexus in January, 2013. With no background company-wide servicing this type of client, our internal team grew the account to more than $2M in spend / month by December 31st in the US alone. AppNexus now has a very deep relationship with this client globally. Founded "SpeakNexus" the first Toastmasters club in AppNexus history, and served as its President for the first year. Currently partnering with a London colleague to launch a sister club in that office.

Built and managed a $6 million third party business for AP Images, which included photo agencies such as NBC Universal, Ebony Jet, the NCAA, as well as, individual photographers and newspapers. Implemented distribution of these products through our sub-agent networks in EMEA, Latin America and Asia. Added a network of contributors to improve our sports photography offering in high school and college sports. Strategically added a royalty-free product offering to apimages.com to provide greater value and service to AP's customers.
