Precision Nutrition and Cardiometabolic Health Program. Participation in several research projects:- European nutrition project focused on studying persistent COVID-19 from different omic perspectives.- National project studying miRNAs in plasma as a new biomarkers of food intake related to metabolic diseases.- Synergy national project METAINFLAMACION, a clinical trial whose aim was the personalized meta-categorization of inflammatory processes associated with metabolic syndrome, autoimmune and viral diseases for precision medicine.

Industrial Thesis:- Design of diet customization and evaluation algorithms and advice on their implementation in eHealth platforms (currently running in the Mefood software for professionals and the Oorenji nutrition app).- Participation in several research projects to develop supplements focused on obesity and perinatal nutritrion (optimization of breast milk composition (miRNAs and adipokines)) and associated pathologies, such as dyslipidemia (characterization of a beta-sitosterol cocrystal matrix).Related activities:- Development and actualization of nutrigenetic reports.- Elaboration of nutritional recommendations integrating the genetic makeup of the patient.- Collection and management of data for clinical research: body composition by bioimpedance and corporal measurements, dietary intake records, and saliva samples.- Design of nutritional education strategies to improve patient's quality of life and overall health.- Train health professionals and students in nutrigenomics.- Development of social media content.

Incorporation to the Research Group for Gut, Microbes and Health lead by Prof. Tine Rask Licht. I took part and actively participated in the PRIMA project - towards Personalized dietary Recommendations based on the Interaction between diet, Microbiome and Abiotic conditions in the gut.

Incorporation to the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Nutrition and Biotechnology (LBNB) of the University of the Balearic Islands led by Dr. Andreu Palou. I took part in the first stages of a research project focused on leptin and perinatal nutrition.

Joined the Molecular Endocrinology Research group led by Dr. Karen E. Heath. I worked on the NPPC gene sequencing of a cohort of 1000 patients with idiopathic short stature to detect new clinical variants. From this collaboration an original paper was published: DOI 10.1038/gim.2017.66
