I am a passionate lover of Portugal, its traditions, its cultures and definitely its wines. Portugal is home to many unique and flavoursome indigenous grape varieties that coupled with a variety of climates and landscapes make wines of such individuality and flavour that they deserve to be made more available to the British public.Most people have tried a Portuguese wine without even realising. For example Port, Mateus Rose, Madeira and Vinho Verde are some of Portugal’s most famous exports and in the case of Port and Vinho Verde, are sold at MartaVine. Both these wines come from neighbouring regions in the North of Portugal but are vastly different in style and perfectly represent the ability that Portugal has to produce many types and styles of wine from a country that is relatively small in size.I hope my passion for Portugal and its wines can be expressed in these words but I believe that the only way to really discover is to try!Specialties: Portuguese Wines, Matching Food with Wines.
