I am passionate to transform and develop organizations to achieve their maximum potential, adapting to today’s changing environment through a better understanding of markets and technologies and developing the talent and culture needed to face the challenges of the future pursuing, always, a shared- value approach with Society.With a background in Strategy Consulting and M&A, I joined the Higher Education Industry with the desire of transforming HE into a more practical, comprehensive and values-oriented experience that will provide students with the competencies needed to lead their professional careers and to develop a more tolerant and sustainable world. Currently I am CEO President at Schiller International University, a North American University with campuses in Florida (US), Madrid (Spain), Paris (France) and Heidelberg (Germany) and strong connections with UK universities. Previously I have held positions as General Manager at Centro de Estudios Garrigues, Dean at the School of Social Sciences and Communication at Universidad Europea, Director of ICADE Business School and Director of the Chair in Internationalization of Business, Diversity and Professional Development at Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE.Before fully joining the academic world in 2010, I developed a business career in Business Strategy Consulting and Investment Banking (corporate finance, M&A) and I was an entrepreneur in the early 2000s launching one of the first financial services Start-Ups in Internet. Since then, I have always been involved in entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship projects as a senior advisor.I also enjoy studying and lecturing. I have a PhD in Economics and Business Administration and BA Degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and, since 2002, I have been teaching Business Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Managing Across Cultures to undergraduates, MBA students and managers at organizations such as ICAI-ICADE, Deusto Business School and the University of Strathclyde (UK). As an expert in Cross Cultural Management, I have participated in many international conferences and delivered customized courses and workshops in Companies (Iberdrola, Gestamp, WEIR, Tecnalia, Mondragon) and Business Schools (Strathclyde Center for Corporate Connections and Deusto Business School).
