Ability to work in sterility.2. Microbiology:- Preparation of mediums and plates for microbial growth;- Cultivation and induction of liquid cultures for recombinant proteins expression in E. Coli.3. Analytical chemistry and biochemistry:- Spectroscopic techniques;- Spectrofluorimetric analysis;- Heterologous proteins purification;- Affinity Chromatoghraphy;- Protein analysis using FPLC;- SDS-PAGE analysis;- Western-Blot analysis;- Preparation of samples for Circular Dichroism, Infrared Spectroscopy and Surface Plasmonic Resonance analyses and qualitative analysis of the resulting data.4. Molecular Biology: - Plasmidic DNA extraction and digestion;- Agarose gel electrophoresis.5. Good knowledge of data analysis and presentation via Microsoft Office tools (Word, Power Point, Excel).6. Independent management of biochemistry laboratory activities.7. Good command of research methods in PubMed, UniProt and basic knowledge of the bioinformatics resource portal Expasy.8.
