Department of Maintenance and Development of Domian Systems,Geological Database ProgramParticipation in GIS projects directed to maintain and modernize customized GIS desktop systems for managing geological and environmental data as an analyst, senior user and project assurance.Responsibilities:- planning and supervision of collaboration with suppliers within GIS projects,- communication with stakeholders,- definition of functional requirements in collaboration with GIS system users,- planning and supervision of user testing, conducting acceptance testing,- final acceptance of delivered GIS applications and planning software deployment in collaboration with IT department,- reviewing technical documentations of customized GIS systems.Administration and configuration of GIS system designed to gather, manage, analyze and publish geological and environmental spatial data, which includes customized GIS desktop applications, geoportal and web reporting application (http://emgsp.pgi.gov.pl/emgsp/, http://emgsp.pgi.gov.pl/raporty/).

Safe Infrastructure and Environment Program, Geology for Spatial Planning and DevelopmentGeographic information system (GIS) and spatial data and management within the Geoenvironmental Map of Poland project:- integrated GIS system administration that allows to manage customized applications, combining data from different sources, definition of users and role-based access control,- configuration of GIS application designed to produce series maps within the Geoenvironmental Map of Poland (II) project at the scale of 1:50 000, writing user documentations, training and support of application users,- administration of GIS application designed to gather, manage and analyze spatial data on prospects of mineral resources in Poland,- administration and configuration of geoportal (emgsp.pgi.gov.pl/emgsp), preparing and publishing spatial data as web map services (WMS), writing user documentations,- development of the the Geoenvironmental Map of Poland (II) database structure,- development of standards to process and integrate external reference spatial data form number of institutions (RZGW, GDOŚ, RDOŚ, GDLP, IMGW, NID) with geoenvironmental spatial database.
