Rent Support Officer
CurrentProviding detailed advice and support to customers regarding rent arrears and welfare benefits. Overseeing accounts and act as a primary contact of Clients, Account Managers and tiers and understanding business needs and goals, act as a trusted advisorUnderstanding the need of the supported customers regardless of their geographical and cultural setupImplementing a comprehensive welfare benefits advice, preparing financial statements for clients, proving benefit checks, assisting in filling various supporting documents, assisting in cashbacks, refunds, organizing payment plans.Analysing complex cases on the individual basis and being proactive to make sure that decisions made are good for the business and generating cash flowOffering benefit checks, assiting in filling various forms such as council tax support or discretionary housing payments.Assisting in filling complaints according to the knowledge of the valid legislationsLiaising with outside agencies such as Department work and pensions, Revenue and Customs, Home Office to make sure the strong partnership relationships are maintained, particularly with seniors leaders, teams and partnersAttending additional trainings relating to the latest Government changes in the welfare benefit legislation, facilitating and delivering presentation to other teamsActing as an internal interpreter; helping in translation both verbal and in writing from Polish to English or English to Polish, preparing documents in both languages, drafting reports
